I started hiking to lose weight. The farther I explored, the more I found myself standing in places that deserved more than a quick snapshot from my phone. In 2020, I bought my first Sony camera to capture what I was seeing, and what began as a personal challenge quickly became a passion.
Today, I travel wherever light, weather, and timing come together to create something extraordinary. Whether it's an Alabama waterfall after a spring rain, sunrise along the Gulf Coast, the peaks of Glacier National Park, or a quiet morning on the beaches of Mexico, I'm always chasing those fleeting moments that most people never get to see.
I don't photograph places just because they're beautiful. I photograph the moments that make them unforgettable. Sometimes that means waiting for the perfect light. Sometimes it means returning to the same location again and again. And sometimes, as with Uninvited Guest, it means being in exactly the right place when the unexpected happens.
Every photograph you see here represents a real place, a real moment, and the patience it took to capture it. My hope is that these images bring the same sense of wonder and connection into your home that I felt when I pressed the shutter.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me sharing my work at art festivals throughout the Southeast, where I enjoy meeting collectors, hearing the stories that draw them to a particular image, and helping them find the perfect piece for their space.
Thank you for visiting my gallery. I hope you'll find a photograph that speaks to you as much as the landscape spoke to me.
